Monki claims they are oh so eco friendly, but if they really were, they would be using proper recycled cardstock. Not things like plastic elements and nylon string!

Camera: Canon EOS 800D, 18-55mm Canon lens
Bert bought me a pack of pastel Stabilo highlighters. I've wanted them for ages, and he'd offered to get them for me at our local supermarket many times, but I always felt they were far too expensive for what they are. But they were on a serious sale this week, so I didn't protest :). I really like these, better than the usual bright highlighters, but I'm not sure I would spend, or let Bert spend, the full price on them.

Camera: Canon EOS 800D, 18-55mm Canon lens
Orbitron in 1992 and now (the recent one is a fantasy pin, but you know, details, details. For those that don't know: fantasy pins are unofficial pins, so made by fans rather than officially by Disney).
And yes, I know that the ride in the background of the postcard is Space Mountain, and that Mickey and Minnie are technically sitting in an Astro Orbiter rocket, but that's the Discoveryland postcard Disneyland Paris is selling, so take it up with them :P. Good luck though, because they notoriously give ZERO fucks about what people think.
----
Friday, May 24 (day 145)
Camera: Canon EOS 800D, 18-55mm Canon lens
Loa cat was celebrating his 5th birthday and he got lots of treats as a present. Normally we only buy him treats that are care treats against hairballs and that are good for his teeth, but for his birthday and Christmas he gets treats that are essentially candy. As you can see, he was very keen on those :).
----
Saturday, May 25 (day 146)
Camera: Canon EOS 800D, 18-55mm Canon lens
Just a multi media piece that I did in my sketchbook after a photo I took on May the 4th :).
----
Sunday, May 26 (day 147)
Camera: Canon EOS 800D, 18-55mm Canon lens
A few years ago, my BFF got me this super cute waterbottle. Of course, all these years later, it's getting towards the end of it's life. So I copied the cute drawings from the bottle design into my sketchbook. So that I can still have those after the bottle is gone :).

WOW this is a big post, you've been so busy and created so much its all so satisfying and nice. Such an amazing bonus getting free ice cream on free comic book day, the free comics are a great way to jump onto a new series.
ReplyDeleteAnd happy (late) birthday to Bert's Nan, the card looks lovely and Happy (late) May the Force :)
Thank you so much! Free ice cream at Free Comic Book Day is definitely a bonus! That's what I love about it too: the opportunity to check out some new titles without having to spend money on them at the chance I don't like it. It's a good way to discover something new :). Happy belated May the Force to you too! :)
