France trip day 3 - Le Château de Champs-sur-Marne

Entry ticket

On our last day in France, Bert and I decided to visit Champs-sur-Marne castle. We had looked up what sites in the area were good to visit before we left on our trip, and the castle popped up on several site. We like castles, and we like to wander castle grounds, so we figured that was as good a way to spend our last day in France as any.

July flashback faves, covering 2 years of July faves!

blog header

July flashback faves
Time to look back to two July's worth of favourites, just to see how I feel about this lot now. I didn't do a flashback faves last month, but I'm back this month! Seeing I started to do monthly faves in June 2016 (time flies!) this is going to cover both July 2016 and July 2017.
I think it's really good to properly look back about what I loved before, and how I look upon it now, because it really helps me keeping myself in check buying new things :).

BCM 36 is out now for FREE download!

First things first!
BCM #36 is out now for FREE download!
Grab your copy here!
It's our 7 year anniversary! Here's to many more years of BCM editions! In this one, we have a make-up tutorial by the talented Birdbrain FX, a small Colourful Summer Fashion feature. Helcanen talks about being an exhibiting foreign artist in Tokyo and is back with another beautiful travel feature. We spoke to Season of Ghosts, Satsuki, Laela French of Lucasfilm and haru (although there's a slight delay on that one), visited a ton of events and reviewed plenty of CDs, manga, anime and movies! Furthermore we have art, snaps, competitions, and so much more! Have a great summer everyone! (or winter, if you're in Australia).

And now for the photos!

Comic Con Gent, hell yes!

MC Matthew

Comic Con Gent is one of those events that Bert and I look forward every year, and we make sure we can get there every year.
It's probably the smallest out of the three Comic Cons, but it's always a good time regardless. This year they weren't for once clashing with that other con: Japan Expo, but it was the world cup. Meaning that once again Comic Con Gent proved once more it doesn't need to have a huge come out for it to be succesful.
And it really did.
