I don't have a lot of faves this month at all, but rather than saving them up and posting them every couple of months, I'm still sticking to a monthly format.
So click to find out what I liked best this month!
Feels like summer...
Last Sunday, May 20th, was the first edition of Japan Con.
Japan Con is organised by the same crew that does Elftopia, as well as Comic Con Antwerp, Gent and Brussels, so we were sure that at the very worst, it would still be decent.
Keep reading to see if our expectancies matched up with reality :)
Last year, Bert and I went to Barrio Cantina, the food truck festival, in Antwerp.
It was so much fun, so obviously, we wanted to go back this year.
This year, however, it's not organised in Antwerp but in Ghent, Ostend and Bruges.
So we opted for Ghent, as we knew where it was in Ghent and it's easier to get to for us.
And oh, what a mistake it was...
Of cats and other things
The First Saturday of May was, traditionally, Free Comic Book Day.
For the past couple of years, Bert and I have been going to Mekanik Strip in Antwerp for it, where they always make a super fun event out of it.
This year was no different.
Of cats, food, sunny weather and other good things! :)
When I heard the name Matsuri, it _should_ have rung a bell...
And yet, as you'll come to find out, it didn't...
It's that time of the month again, where I look back at last year's favourites of the month and see what I still own.
And when I do still own the product, how I feel about it now.
Is it still a fave, has it fallen from grace, or is it lingering around (half) forgotten?

Catching up with the week before this one as well, so here's TWO weeks worth of daily photos.
And no, it's not all Loa cat and/or Star Wars stuff, rest assured :).
