Last week in photos: 22-28 May 2017

Last week was also box camera week, which I was able to participate in thanks to my friend Dan K, who has gifted me an Agfa Clack a while ago.
So I loaded that with a trusted roll of Ilford Delta 100 and went about taking photos.
Which are currently with HEMA's film lab, so that's why Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are missing.
Admittedly, I also shot with my Agfa Paramat a lot last week, even though that's not a box camera. So yeah, check back later for analog :)

Day 144: Wednesday, May 24

It was Loa cat's 3rd birthday.
On which Loa did the exact same things as usual because the concept of birthday means nothing to him. He probably felt he got wet food and a new toy simply because he's a good cat haha :).

Day 42/100 days of make-up in 2017.
Bert had decided he wanted to do the "husband picks my make-up challenge". So he poured over everything in my box of make-up (which isn't that big so his choice was limited), complained about how I had so many neutral and brown eye shadows and lipsticks (well he also complained I had so many purple lipsticks) and eventually settled on this.
Under normal circumstances, I would have worn this look all day (in fact, all my other looks from 100 days of make-up were shot after having been on my face for several hours, often for most of a day) were it not for the fall-outy horror that is that NYX eye shadow.
I swear, the longer I have that brights palette the more it grates on my nerves.
I'm sure the only reason these ultimate shadows palettes are so popular is because they are cheap and the colours are pretty enough and a ton of people on insta do their make-up just to take a photo (nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't present a correct image of products I feel). But it takes FOREVER to blend them properly AND they don't properly stay (and yes, I use a base, by NYX so you'd think that it would at least be intercompatible within the brand). I didn't want to have aqua shadow all over my face in a matter of hours.

Bert and I went to Antwerp, and I only took analog photos.

When we got back home, after witnissing another BS on the train (more about that here), this happened though.

I honestly don't care that my giant floppy hat is ridiculous and doesn't match most of my outfits. When it's boiling hot and super bright, the hat comes out! :)
Oversized hat > headaches and sore eyes :)

I let Bert choose my lipstick for the photo. It needs mentioning that the lipstick I wore out in Antwerp all day was Meow by Winky Lux, which is a lot like the Tarte lipstick Bert picked out.

It was so boiling HOT and summery that day, that this photo is a perfect descripton of it.

Bert and I went to see Across Japan at the Hasselt fashion museum for BCM, so expect a full review of that exhibit in the next edition :).
This was my favourite piece, it's a vintage inspired two piece by John Galliano for Dior.
There will be a post about the expo on my blog somewhere this week! 



The museum had this background set up, which I assume is installed for the purpose of selfies and outfit shots.
